North Winton Village
It’s peaceful, friendly, and just… feels like home.
Funny enough, we weren’t even looking for a house when we found ours here. It was a Sunday in June of 1999 — JD and I were driving around trying to get our 2-year-old, Jack, to nap (I was 7 months pregnant with Lucas at the time). We ended up in a neighborhood we didn’t know well, off Atlantic Ave, and passed a sweet little blue colonial with a For Sale sign. Just for fun, we called about it later and ended up seeing it with a longtime family friend and realtor, Bob Hirschberg. We instantly fell in love — with the house and the neighborhood, and BOB GOT US THE HOUSE!!
That house became the backdrop of our growing family. We brought Lucas home just two weeks after we moved in. Our boys made friends right on our street, we walked to the library and playground, and had dinner at neighborhood restaurants we still love today. Over time, we built lifelong friendships and so many memories. And when I became a realtor myself (inspired by Bob!), most of the homes I sold were just minutes from our front door. North Winton Village didn’t just give us a house — it gave us a community.
